Story time is when our teachers introduce various types of fun and exciting reading materials to our students. The students learn to listen and build comprehension skills as they are asked questions about the read material. They are challenged to listen for rhyming words, distinctive rhythms, and the basic vocabulary words to which they have been introduced. As they engage in this pleasurable activity, they learn to appreciate literature of various kinds.
