Language skills are developed through exposing children to literature. A love of books starts early and lays the foundation for emergent literacy skills. Our teachers encourage them to "read" the pictures, make predictions, and repeat phrases. Children learn to share, follow directions, and lengthen their attention span. Children also begin to recognize the connection between spoken language and the written word.
